What is Bowen Therapy?
Bowen Therapy can be used to fix or reduce pain and discomfort in both Horses and Riders. It is a very gentle but powerful bodywork technique based on the work of the late Tom Bowen.
Bowen Therapy produces a total body response, consequently improving circulation, lymphatic drainage, and assisting in the release of toxins and joint mobility.
This type of therapy can be used on horses of any age, including horses that are being treated by a vet as it assists in the healing and release of toxins from the body.
Bowen Therapy can also be used effectively on nervous horses as the techniques can result in such horses becoming more relaxed.
Please note: The Bowen Therapy does not replace using a veterinarian but if used in conjunction it can assist in the healing and well being of the horse.
