TALKS & DEMONSTRATIONS
I am available for talks and demonstrations for Pony clubs, ARC & Horse riding competitions. Please feel free to contact me to organise a suitable date and time if you would like me to attend your riding club or events to provide a demonstration. A Horse and rider must be made available for the demonstration.

I'd owned my horse for about 6 months, and was picking up on things not being right with him. One afternoon I tried a new saddle on him, it slipped as I climbed on - and he did NOT like it. It was a poor fit admittedly, but it highlighted some pain in his back and hips that needed urgent attention.
I'd known Natika from Equerry Horse Services from a few online horse forums, and had heard of her therapies. I was willing to give anything a go to relieve my horse's discomfort, and she'd come recommended from a number of sources. I lined up a float ride, and organised a session. My horse wasn't quite sure about it to begin with, but he's a very laid back guy and took it in his stride. By the end of the session, he was literally dozing off. He watched each movement Natika made, and was keeping tabs on what was happening, but was enjoying it so much he relaxed into a half-sleep!
When I got him home and let him go, he took off across the paddock in an extended trot with some magnificent elevation, followed by a lovely long-strided canter. He was clearly feeling rather good after the session! We followed up with a 2nd session, and the results were very similar. He came out of them so relaxed and so much more free in his movement - tracking up beautifully and really following through. Natika has a lovely way with the horses, and clearly loves what she does - and they respond to that instantly. I have recommended her service to a number of friends, and they reported results very similar to that which I had with my horse. If you've never tried Bowen, it's unusual, but it does give results you can see in your horse and that's where it counts. - Jill McLean 2007



I have been using Natika's services for a couple of years on our Riding Pony gelding. When he was first purchased, l learnt that he had been receiving Bowen Therapy as part of his ongoing health maintenance plan. He had never had any major health issues or soreness, but his owner felt it improved his overall wellbeing and kept him sound and soft through his whole body. I found Natika's phone number and have been calling her regularly ever since. Sam has a treatment every couple of months, especially before a major competition just to deal with any stiffness or sore spots. He is competed regularly in dressage events and the occasional show, and works fairly hard at home and at coaching sessions. He seems to enjoy the treatment and is very relaxed by the end of it. He never seems sore afterwards, and always feels much softer and looser through the back and neck. It does seem to give him an extra spring in his step, and the difference is his work is noticeable. He has competed at state level dressage, Horse of the Year shows and Royals, and I do feel the work Natika does with him gives us the extra 10% you need for those occasions.
